Winters, desert, mountains, temperatures

Mongolias climate is harsh, with temperatures ranging in winter from a high of -21C (-5F) to a low of -30C (-22F) and in summer between 10 and 27C (50 and 80F). Winters are dry, and summer rainfall seldom exceeds 380 mm (15 in) in the mountains and 125 mm (5 in) in the desert.
