Unemployment, labor force, fishing, forestry, Malaysia

In 2000 Malaysia had a labor force of 9.6 million workers. Some 18 percent were employed in agriculture, forestry, fishing; 32 percent in industry; and 50 percent in services. Unemployment was comparatively low, with only 3 percent of the workforce unable to find work in 2000.
